About the Book

There is not a dull moment in this book. Each character, each experience, and a portal that ties everything and everyone together. There was a portal that spanned from the late 1600s in Ireland to the modern-day United States, traveling 300 years. The King requested that two villagers, who were the only ones who knew about the portal, take the children from the new world and bring them to his Kingdom to build up his village. They were paid generously for their services. Ultimately, one became arrested and ended up in a psychiatric hospital for five years before he stood trial. Jordon, from the New World, was led to this portal to save Catherine, who had been taken, and to return her to her family. After being captured and spending almost four years in hard labor, he was released to fight their war with other villages. Now, someone else just as important was sent to solitude. Would Jordon, at a young age, be clever enough to rescue two and himself? One twist after another, as each character comes together with moments of despair, sadness, and a lot of laughter along the way.
